Drawn from the everyday experience of travelling a familiar coastal road, this work explores the interplay of memory, landscape, and movement. Native flora and fauna dissolve into an abstract vocabulary of layered colour and lyrical mark-making, where banksias, birds, and glimpses of wildlife are sensed rather than described. Hints of turquoise evoke hidden surf breaks beyond the horizon, grounding the work in the unmistakable atmosphere of Northern New South Wales.
